REQUEST FOR PERMIT FOR FELLING OF TREE

Cost of permit: $25

Procedure for:

►An existing property:

1- Enter all trees 5 cm in diameter or more;

2- Cross out with an “X” the tree or trees you wish to fell;

3- For each tree, indicate their diameter and type (C for conifer or F for deciduous); Ex.: C-10 cm = Conifer 10 cm in diameter

4- Complete the required information and sign the application;

5- Submit the request to city hall (in person, by mail, by fax or by email).

We will contact you to schedule an appointment as soon as the permit is issued.

► A new construction:

1- Only register the trees you want to preserve;

2- Only enter trees 2" (50 mm) in diameter and more;

3- For each tree, indicate their diameter and type (C for conifer or F for deciduous); Ex.: C-10 cm = Conifer 10 cm in diameter;

4- Complete the required information and sign the application;

5- Submit the form with your new construction permit application.

It is preferable to photocopy your location or establishment certificate in order to locate your trees on your land, using the same symbols represented in the legend below.
