Information for slaughter tree

The felling and pruning of trees is prohibited. Exception Felling and pruning may be authorized following obtaining a certificate of authorization if the tree:

- is dead, has mechanical weakness or suffers from an incurable illness;

- is dangerous for the safety of people;

- causes damage to public or private property;

- harms the growth or well-being of neighboring trees;

- must necessarily be felled as part of the execution of public works;

- must necessarily be felled for the completion of an authorized construction or landscaping project;

- must be replaced within 6 months by a tree with a diameter of at least 2 cm at chest height;

- is a shade or ornamental tree planted on City property for which you have received authorization for pruning or felling from municipal authorities.
